OPERA HOUSE THEATRE COMPANY IS PLEASED to announce its 2008 Season of professional theatre. We divide our shows into two different seasons: the Main Stage Season, which are large scale productions of musicals and comedies performed on the Main Stage of Thalian Hall, and the Studio Theatre Season, which consists of lesser-known or original dramas and musicals which are performed in the black box theatre of Thalian Hall.

SEASON TICKETS: In order to receive the discounted price for tickets, you must buy your tickets by October 17th, 2007. After that date, subscription prices will revert to the usual price. Season and single tickets will be on sale at the Center Box Office beginning Tuesday December 11th, 2007. The Center Box Office is located in the lobby of Thalian Hall, 310 Chestnut Street, Wilmington, NC; reservations may also be made by phone - (910) 343-3664 or, toll free in NC, 1-800-523-2820. The box office is open Tuesday - Friday from noon until 6pm, and Saturday & Sunday from 2pm until 6pm. Click here for the season ticket request forms.

THE CENTER BOX OFFICE is located in the lobby of Thalian Hall Center for the Performing Arts, 310 Chestnut Street, Wilmington, NC. Please note the following changes for the Center Box Office. The Center Box Office is open Tuesday through Friday from noon until 6:00 pm, Saturday from 2:00 - 6:00 pm, and two hours prior to curtain time on Sundays. On performance dates, the Center Box Office will remain open until curtain time, and telephone orders will be taken until 7 pm. SEASON TICKETS will be on sale at our office until Friday, December 7 for the prices listed on the renewal form. There is a discount for subscribers & individual subscribers until October 17th - also on the order form. Season tickets will go up to reflect the face value of the tickets (i.e., depending on the nights). Will Call season tickets will remain $220.

INDIVIDUAL TICKET PRICES for 2007 will be $20 for Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday and $25 for Friday and Saturday for reserved seating on the parquet and mezzanine levels and $5 for general admission on the gallery level for Main Stage shows. Individual ticket prices for the Studio Theatre shows are $15. All seats for the Studio shows are general admission.

DISCOUNTS of $2 per ticket are available to students and to senior citizens (60 years+) for any Wednesday, Thursday, or Sunday performance of our Main Stage shows. There are no discounts for Studio Theatre shows or for gallery level seating for the Main Stage.

GROUP DISCOUNTS for parties of 10 or more are available for any Main Stage performance. Reservations must be made in advance. Groups must be booked through the Center Box Office or through the Opera House office. For information call 910.762.4234.

GALAS for Grand Patrons, Patrons, and Donors are held immediately following the first Friday night performance of each Main Stage show.

ALL CONTRIBUTIONS to Opera House are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. This includes the contributions which are part of the Grand Patron, Patron, and Donor packages.

ALL OPERA HOUSE PERFORMANCES are held either on the Main Stage or in the Studio Theatre of Thalian Hall Center for the Performing Arts, 310 Chestnut Street, Wilmington, NC. Thalian hall is equipped for the physically impaired.

CENTER BOX OFFICE POLICY: All tickets purchased by credit card will be processed and billed at the time the order is placed; tickets will not be held on a "reservation only" basis. All telephone credit card orders and all mail orders are subject to a $3 handling charge. This is a Center Box Office policy and does not benefit Opera House. Tickets purchased in person are not subject to the handling charge, regardless of payment method.
